Fall 2010…. & it sucks already…

I’m fucking tired!!!

Stayed up late last night (my last day of the holidays) to finish Supernatural S04 (finally!!) with B….

awesome….

and I woke up at like 6.30am this morning just so that I can be in sch on time to do the last minute add/drop shit…..

so right now I’m just waiting to change one more class and I’m good to go!!

it’s currently:
Monday       - FREE
Tuesday       - 08.30 - 10.00 (Psy101) & 03.30 - 05.00 (COM337 - Communication Theory)
Wednesday - 03.30 - 05.00 (COM217 - Org Com)
Thursday     - 08.30 - 10.00 (Psy101) & 03.30 - 05.00 (COM337 - Communication Theory)
Friday           - 12.00 - 02.00 (NTR108) & 03.30 - 05.00 (COM217)

If I manage to add the class I want then  on Mondays and Wednesdays I have class at 12.00 to 2.00

if not then I’m stuck at 4 mods this sem….

was trying to do 5 mods this sem and maybe another sem cause Jie’s getting married in June and she wants me to be there…
trying to arrange my timetable such that I can….
*sigh* but I don’t think so…..
maybe I still can…
we’ll see…
and I want to graduate by the end of the year and I hope I still can….
ugh….

I’m taking 217 again…
it was a battle between 101 or 225 or 217….
ruth and alicia suggested I take 225 or 217….
seeing as how 101 is not that easy to score…..
225 is being taught by Karen Ong….
and according to Star and Sam, the prof teaching 217 is nice and stuff
so I’ve decided on 217…
this bidding thing is going to kill me….

still gonna take a look at my 240 final paper….
and then go talk to the advisor….
OMG…. that woman shld be fired!
replaced!!!
she works 3 days a week…. from 2pm to 5pm….
it’s the first week of the sem and that’s still her working hours?!?!
shldn’t she be coming in early cause there will be a lot students who need advise and what not???
at least for the first 2 weeks of school….
unfortunately she’s the only advisor we’ve got..
but sadly she is TERRIBLE at her job…
not only does she have short work hours but she refuses to go a little further to help us….
she refuses to log into her system to help us check our courses…
if she asks us for something and we can only retrieve it online…
she doesn’t allow us to touch her computer….
she tells us not to compare our modules with our friends…
cause O’level/A’level/Poly students all have a diff list of modules…
BUT we don’t have a choice!!!!
they’re more help then she is!!
Ughhh….
I seriously hope she gets paid by the hour and like 6/hr or something….
if part of my fees goes to her paycheck,
my head will explode…

met sam for dinner first…

went Tamp 1 on Sat to go get B’s new glasses….
and went for some Jap…

Asian Kitchen

Had dinner with Sam & Ben last night at ION’s Asian Kitchen…

First time there….
it was ok…
food’s not too bad….
price wasn’t that bad either….

all this plus 4 bowls of RICE….
and 3 cups of bubble tea costs like… $52 in total….
which is just a little over $10 per person…
guess it’s ok…

went walking around ION..
got sucked into buying new shoes!!
for $32!!!
but they look really nice….
normal suede black heels…
kinda like the ones ben’s wearing…
but slightly different….
and yes… speaking of which… this is what happens when Ben wears heals…

went to WENDY’s again…
for Ben’s 2nd dinner…
sam and I shared a baked chili cheese potato…
which wasn’t too bad…
pretty yummy actually….

but I somehow don’t really feel like clubbing….
kinda have no mood…
either than or I’ve grown out of it…
meh…

So glad I can get my own shows now….
I can finally finish Supernatural~!
Then… as promised… i will move on to Vampire Diaries….
but for now Dexter S01 & White Collar for Ash…
realised my Dexter S01 & 02 is missing…

Thinking of going back to IBM to work full time after I graduate…
hmmm….
so I got in contact with my mentor or handler or whatever….

HOLIDAY OVER!

sad news….
my holiday’s coming to an end…

so it’s time now to start saving again and be uber stingy….
not like I wasn’t in the first place but now I have to up that by 40%!
I wanna go on holidays!!!
so that means no more shopping!!!!!!!!
I will have to wear all the clothes I’ve got till they have multiple holes in them…
and I’ve put on even more weight so that’s gonna be hard to shed….
since I pick B up from work almost every day and finding cheap healthy food in town is tough….

speaking of which…
we tried out WENDY’S today

the price is a little more than KFC or kinda the same….
all that cost like $14
the two piece spicy chicken tastes like KFC or was it Mac’s spicy winglets….
not bad actually….
the fish burger was ok…
the fries were meh…..
and I got like vanilla ice-cream with my fish burger…
which was pretty good…

right…
so no more fast food for me and swimming on the weekends with B….
can’t believe I didn’t swim this whole holiday!!!

I’ve got so many polaroids so I decided to paste them on my wall…
do a little deco….

went to check it out this evening when I went to pick B up…

ash flying off

so yesterday was the day that ash flew off to Indiana….
we were given heads up a week before….
pretty short notice but hey… what to do….

B and I went to Raffles Place in the afternoon and sat at Starbucks for about like…
3 to 4 hours and spent quite a bit on making ash this letter/photo album….
well actually it was just a fancy letter…
hahahaha….
which by the way, I forgot to take a photo of…. damn…. nvm…

we got to the Airport and had dinner with Ricky and Jeremy at Sakae Teppenyaki,
I have to say, it was a huge disappointment….
i thought it would have been better but it was awful…. PS Sakae is still better….

SUMMER BIRTHDAY GIRLS!!

My holiday is coming to an end….
pretty shitty considering the fact that I only have a month of holiday between semesters….
and I’m kinda between a push and pull with this up coming semester…
the faster the sem goes, the faster I graduate….
but I just don’t have the same heart going into it then before…

what’s making this sem worse is the fact that I didn’t do as well as I needed to last sem….
I needed a B for 240… but I got a B-…..
which totally shocked me…
cause according to the results I did beyond awful on my exam….
I asked to see my paper…
but the school hasn’t got back to me yet….
if I can’t get it reviewed or if the review is unsuccessful I have to redo COM101….
which is a total nightmare because it would mean another 1000$+
and it may screw up my graduation….
my holiday hasn’t been all that good since I found out….

I’ve finished all my shows and I’m about to finish plants vs zombies….

but i guess it’s good…
taking the distractions away from my studies…..

Batam 2010

put me back to sleep

I am awake at 5am cause I woke up worrying about my grades…. can you believe it? The first thoughts were of doing being able to move forward like I planned and not being able to get the grade I need. Of not being able to enjoy my trip with B next week…. of having to plan my Fall timetable again. Of what I can do to make sure I get the grade I need but then thinking it’s a long shot. Worrying and thinking that it’s not about having to re-sit for module but the fact that I may not be able to pay to do it again… the fact that I’m 25 and still studying…. I want… I need to go out there and work. This was all that i was thinking while I tossed in bed for 30mins or so at 4plus in the morning. I want to get back to sleep. Can I?

Went to the place at 3pm and B and I headed up to the swimming pool on the 19th floor….
