My Shopping Spre!!

Kinda just came home from shopping with Mummy!!! So happy…

Went for mass with mummy in the morning… it was kinda for thanking the lord for getting into Poly. It was the 7.30am mass…!!! I haven’t woken up this early since… Secondary school days! But I did… and after mass mum and I went for breakfast at the canteen at the church. Came home… and I feel asleep again… hee…

Anyway since I started school I kinda lacked T-shirts… or tops with short sleeves. So I asked mum if she could take me shopping for some. And so she did… today… with lindajie… we decided to go to Marina Square cause since they renovated mum hadn’t been there.

First off, we went to eat cause Lindajie was hungry. We went to eat at Kenny Rogers since mum hadn’t eaten there in a long time and we wanted to try the branch at Marina. It was pretty good… oh wait… damn good… yummy chicken… and the ‘oh-so-great’ sides… the meal went up to about $40+.

Mum bought me a new pair of footwear… the open toe sandles from PrimaVera. My old Charles and Keith red beaded ones spoilt earlier in the morning. Then we went to Zara… hee… bought a couple of tops from there… jie and I both… then we bought tops from Topshop. Oh, the bill on those were high. I bought 1 topshop top and one undie… hee… jie on the other hand… bought one top and a skirt!! ARGH!! LOL! This really nice short demin skirt… *sigh*… we also bought lisajie this red top that she liked. Earlier last week she saw one of my tops I had bought from TopShop and said she liked it so we got it for her. Actually, the lady at the counter said that we could have a membership if the bill was a $150, we only missed by $25 so yah. Haha. Then we went to RipCurl, where I bought a t-shirt.

In total, I bought like 1 pair of sandles, 1 undie and 4 tops. A total of like $140. OH MY GOSH!!! YES, that is a lot of money!!!! Did quiet a bit of damage today. Don’t think I’ll be shopping AT ALL for another few months… like till the end of the year?? But anyways…. thank you mummy!!

We had to end shopping early (thank goodness for that) cause mum had to go for her majong session. Then Lindajie and I headed to town cause I needed to get my da some small crabs and get her Ipod. BUT!! The Ipod care center was closed…. I also had to buy dinner home for the rest of the family.

At this moment, I have like 3 different Birthday Voucher thingys with me. 1 is from Kalm’s, 1 is from TopShop and the last but not least is from Citigems. I have to use all these up by the end of May. Never had such things before.

Thank goodness… now I can concentrate on saving money… it’s a good thing I don’t spend a lot on food in school.

Anyway, gonna bath now…

the day at the pool

Woke up at like 9+am today… stayed awake for like an hour or 2 before going back to slp at like 12 and slept till 1.30… haha… i was sooo tired. Was going to meet benita at the swimming complex… da was working there today and I went to go visit her. Even though I was so lazy, I still went…

Had a quarrel last night… got sooo tired and pissed off… da was being soo negative and kept whinning…. ok don’t wanna think abt it…

so I got there at like 4pm… didn’t feel like swimming… i just sat down and read my book… John Saul - Right Hand of Evil… which i managed to finish when the sun went down!! I did play at the slides twice… but that’s about it… haha.. yah… i just sat down most of the time reading. Had dinner with da at KFC for 30mins before she had to go back to work. While waiting for her to finish and after I had finished with my book, I called liwei to chat with her. Hee… glad to know she’s doing great… can’t wait to meet up again… it feels so good to be able to keep in connect with them.

Da and I went to 7-11 and bought some food for da… poor baby doesn’t get a lot to eat and since everyone’s been saying that she’s lost weight, I’m trying to put it all back. LOL….

Things have been pretty hard the last month… all the stress… it’s begining to show… we’ve been at each others throats… but always been working through them… love u da…

Talking about stress…. i found my first strand of white hair!!!! AHHHHH!!!!

Ok since we got the new sofa, I’ve been knocking my leg on the wooden piece underneath… will show u guys much later on… but I hit myself twice on the same spot… here.. have a look…

What a week!!

The week has been so hectic… since i started school on Wednesday… my life has been nothing but runnings.

Wednesday

Went to school at like 8am to get my timetable cause the bloody SAS account wasn’t working… so I went to ayam’s place and then rushed back by 10am. Even though I rushed… ran up to the 6th level I still missed the first lesson! Not because I was late or anything… the class was having the lesson in the library!! So I was told to roam around till my next lesson which was at 1pm!!! Thank goodness ayam accompanied me… and then later daniel came with samuel and showed me a few things here and there.

I only went to Stats lesson which was only 2 hours and it seemed ok. My class… meeh… they seem ok. Tsk tsk… the boys are…. really boys… i mean they seem… ok, i don’t know how to explain it… but looking at them… suren, pong, andrew, gim, chan, weikun, hadi!!!!! I miss you guys so damn much man!!!! The girls are fine… nothing much to say about them. They have more… initiative thn the boys.

Thursday

I was like 15mins late for accounts lecture. We left the house at like 8am and it took mum 1hour and 15mins to get me to school!! The was only drizzling and the traffice was total bullshit man… Plus, I had a terrible tummy ache… *sigh*… well, didn’t matter… i sat in class for only 15mins and realised I missed nothing in accounting lessons the pass week.

So here is the other shity thing, the marketing lesson was held in the library again. I didn’t know…. again. So I went to look for my FOM teacher and she was kind enough to fill me in and all. She even schelduled my make-up lessons for the library ones because she felt it was important. Then she sent me to another FOM teacher cause I didn’t seem to have enough free time to slot it in. Anyway so the other teacher was kind enough to give me all the material I needed for FOM. Thank goodness I didn’t waste my time.

Last lesson was accounting… thank goodness the room and all was right. I felt so bored… can’t wait for them to get to Balance sheet and P&L accounts… cause I am so bad at those!! Hahaha… I just want them to skip the basics!!

Went to meet ayam and her classmates at foodcourt 2 with benita… i was starving!! So nice… she bought me the double fish burger… then we all went walking to the club house to bowl… the place was pretty cool… but the alley has only 10 lanes!!!!!!!!!!! So tiny!! SP students have to leave the club after 6pm so then we went to the arcade/pool table… stayed there till after 6pm. Then went to FoodCourt 4.

I’ve only met ayam’s classmates once or twice… briefly… but I can get along with them perfectly. They are really nice and sociable… I mean… I’ve been with my class what… 2 days…? Ok not to be mean or anything but seriously… ayam’s friends are really more of guys than my class ones. *sigh*…

Friday…

Not too bad… didn’t miss any lessons… thank god…

Got a group for CD… character development… then went for a/c lecture… almost bored my ass off… then I heard from a classmate of mine that I might be able to get exempted from a module. ITAB… it’s were they teach you all the Micro Office stuff which I learnt for 2 freaking years in ITE!!!! Anyway, she got exempted from it… and asked me to go check it out. So I did… the lecturer asked me to go to the office and find that out… I was so damn lucky… the lady was just about to send all the application forms to the administration office!! So I had to rush in filling in my application and printed out my results. Rushed down to see the teachers in-charge and she asked me a few questions. Like what I learnt, how often were the lessons and for how many years did I learnt it. I told her everything and all and I got it!! Wahahaha… so I’m kinda exempted from ITAB!! I finish at 12pm every friday now!! Woho!!

Spent the next hour with ayam and her friends cause they came over to my block to eat.

Ok so my week is finally over… hopefully I’ll get full hang of it by next week. I still haven’t really made friends… in fact… I made friends with the Marine students instead!!! And getting along with them great!! Even the girls! Wrong school… *sigh* But the month of May is soooo tiring cause I have 3 make-up lessons.

I went to sign up for the CYA… Changi Youth Ambassador. Had some time off my hands today so I went to settle everything else. I still have a couple of things to handle… and get use to. I can finally log into my SAS ACCOUNT TOO!!

I barely ate in school the last 3 days… plus… I’ve been walking a damn lot!!!!

AArrgghh….. I so need a rest!!!!!!!!

Sherwin!!! 3 days and I can start bitching sessions already!!!!!!!

Breath Easy… thank u…

So the last 48 hours were a real pain in the ass. I spent Sunday night crying… yah… shut up. I dread waking up this morning… I didn’t want to wake up till 12 noon but I got an unexpected phone call from andrew.

Dear andrew called to catch up on things. The boy was trying real hard to keep my mind off the PPE results. Glad to hear he’s been doing something about the dating world rather then just sitting around and saying how pretty the girls are. Anyway, we might all catch up later this week. Can’t wait!!!

Ok, back to story of the day… as noon approaches I get even more scared. Da hadn’t called so I thought… bad news… it was probably so bad that she didn’t dare call me and tell me the bad news. So instead, I called her… and what was she doing?? Playing with playdough… in the toilet. *sigh*… I was starting to panic so she hurried and went to check the results for me. We figured if I did it… I’ll just die of a heart attack before I got to see the results. I went online and waited for Da to call me back with the ans. Jeanie came to talk to me and told me her friend didn’t get in. So now I’m like freaking… she offered to check for me but I didn’t want to… also da seemed to be taking a damn long time.

10 minutes later… da calls…

Da: ‘Hey… did you check?’

Me: “No…”

DA: “Oh… I check already…”

Me: “I didn’t get in did I…. That’s why you took so long… “

Da: Silence for like 2 secs “No lah… you got in…”

Me: “Don’t lie…”

Da: “I never lie!!!! You go check yourself!! ‘Congragulations……’”

Ok so yes… I got in!!! Got into Singapore Poly….!!! Business Administration!!! I called Lindajie… and Hariz… then I msged Andrew… Sherwin… Bu…

I was so shocked… I almost died… went to SP at 2… I had wanted to go to the Biz Block and give sa a surprise but…. she was having class from 3 to 5… which was when I had to be at the admin office. So instead… I settled for calling her on daniels’ cell. YAY!!!!

Had to rush down and the lady took a little long to find my enrollment package… actually she didn’t take long… it just felt long to me… then i rushed home to tell my parents… yes… i hadn’t told my parents!! So when I got home… the first thing I asked my mum was ‘How much money do you have?’ My mum kinda guessed I got into poly… glad my parents are real happy about it.

So tmr I have to go down to Nee Ann City for med check up at 10am… then I have to go to Standard Chartered at Shaw House to make the payments… I have to get this all done by 2.30pm… which gives me 4 1/2 hours to do my med check up and payments to rush back for my enrollment at 3.15pm.

What a rush………

I still can’t believe it… I got in… it’s all so surreal…
just hope nothing ruins it…


going to celebrate with da at fish&co tmr… in the mood to spend a little…

skeptical & new furniture

It’s da’s first day of work today!!! And also the first day in like a week I haven’t gone out. I’ve been going out like every day the whole week.


Today I woke up thinking about my PPE results… I actually thought today was Monday and that when I woke up, I had to go online and check it out. Then I remembered and had to tell myself that today was Sunday, the whole time my heart was thumping in my mouth. I can imagine the words ‘We are sorry but your application into Singapore Poly Business is unsuccessful’ flashed across the screen. I mean I remembered when I received my Os the first time and sent in appeal letters into the poly. That’s what was written in those letters. Then I sent my reults to get reviewed which was a waste of time and money. When I did my Os the 2nd time… I still hadn’t passed. I mean I’ve seen the words unsuccessful so many times it seems like it’s THE word to describe my life.

It would be good if I was as positive as everyone else in front of me… It’s made my mood extra bad. It’s bad enough that I have a bad temper but imagine when stress is added on top of it. *sigh*…. sorry da. Hey, if I get in, you guys are more than welcome to rub it in my face later on but right now… i wanna complain about it as much as possible. I’ve even prepared and written on the envelopes of the appeal letters to the other polys already. That’s how worried and skeptical I am.
On a lighter note… mum drove lindajie and I to ToaPayoh to go have a look at furniture. Yes!!! We’re finally getting a new sofa!!!! The place is called Bright… i think. Anyway, they have pretty nice furniture there… so tempting. Anyway, we were there to look at sofas and coffee tables… mum and dad had been there earlier but dad wanted ‘the kids’ intake on the whole thing before buying it. We saw a few sofas we liked… like the one sa has…? The L shaped sofas… but they weren’t practical for the family… (a lot of things had to be considered) in the end we took this sofa bed… it could be bent at your will… bend it vertically or horizontally… pretty cool and looks nice too. light brown suede…. will take a pic of it when it comes on Wednesday.

We decided not to get any coffee table cause they all weren’t really up to what we wanted. The design… the structure… so in the end we only got a sofa. I was looking at the wardrobes… *sigh*…. well… yes…. only looking… hee…

Came home and did a little packing of the living room… hope it can fit though… lol…. yes… we actually don’t know if it can fit in the living room or not!!!! LOL…. we’ll see…


Constantine is onl cable tonight… hee.. yah!!

Have new photo albums up… and i’m also organizing them. Started using flickr too, to keep my 2005 pics.

Finally… my heart&soul section will be up by maybe the end of the week. If you guys were just guessing what it is… it’s just a compilation of poems or ’sayings’ i wrote over the past 3 to 4 years. I think it’s 3 to 4 years… or maybe less. Yup… just hope no one steals them…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Ok so it isn’t my birthday but my second sister, Belinda just came home from Kelvin’s place. And I ask her what I always ask, ‘Have anything for me?’… and usually she says ‘No’ but today… hee… she says ‘Uh huh’… so I’m like cool… movies… anime… but then… she wipes out this box and says ‘Happy early birthday present’ and I’m like staring at the box… and she says…… ‘It’s an external Hard drive… 40G’

40G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I’m just like staring at the box for 2 mins before taking it… so yes… Hip HIp HoorAY!!!! I have finally got an external hard disk!! With most of my stuff in it… unfortunately most of my things were corrupted and they had to be deleted… *sob*…

But it’s Happy Birthday to me!!! Wahahahahahaha………………. thank you!!! LOVE U!!!
oh yes… kelvin, thanks for the help with my project the other time too…. hee… an A!!! thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Oh yes… it may not be my birthday but it is 2 other ppl’s bday…

Ok so the last day has been a real drag for me. But all my sweet hearts have been trying to cheer me up…. thanks guys…

so to take my mind of things I just need to talk to something else…

I found a great new online jewellry shop… love&pride… ok it’s not your everyday jewellry shop… in fact it may not even be your kind of jewellry at all. It’s at online US store… what kind of jewellry it is catered to? Simple… Gays/Lesbians. Ok before you guys start jump outta ya pants, some of the stuff they sell is really nice…. sample??
   

 
See?? It’s really nice… yes i know i only showed the rings… haha… but actually that’s the nicest collection they have. They do have a few nice necklaces and bracelets but I kinda think the rings are the best collection. Don’t bother about the price cause it’s REALLY nice too…. lol.

Have any of you watched the Oprah Winfrey show? Channel 5 is finally airing the show but I have no idea how behind they are and whether or not they’ll be showing every episode from the show but it doesn’t really matter to me cause I have it on cable. Regardless, you guys should catch it. On Channel 5 or Cable (18)…

It’s really good show… not only cause she gets the best stars on her show… or even has the habit of giving her viewers prezzies on certain episodes (which drives my mum nuts cause she wants them too… i want them too… no lying about that) but cause she talks about some of the things that other people are afraid to talk about. She has some of the greatest stories to tell and some of them would just touch your heart. There are certain things that you’ve always wanted to know about… well.. she’ll talk about it on her show sooner or later. She creates awareness among the people… eg. Child molesters/things that parents should know about like there has been a new ‘game’ that american kids are playing, the ‘choking game’… (think that’s what it’s called) basically you choke urself… cut the flow of O2 in your brain till u pass out but immediately realeasing the rope or belt from ur neck so that you won’t die. You actually get this really high feeling for 2 seconds before it’s gone and the O2 is back into your brain. Yah, i know… sound ridiculous to some of us but it apparently does happen. The Debt Diet.. that I tink everyone in the world should be watching and learning from it…

There are just so many things… and you can what a great influence she is on people. anyway… it’s  one of the best shows to watch, learn, understand and get a reality check.
