I finally got my Heat Pillow!! WOOPIE!! I met up with Sa in the evening to get my pillow and also XueLing’s bday card. Sa and I still kinda send birthday cards to some of the old classmates in IJ. So when I came home, I popped the little baby into the mircowave oven… and Oooo… the refreshing Lavender smell… the warmth that hits your skin when you put the pillow on an aching spot.

Ok, so I’m feeling a little paranoid right now… it’s been 4 days since I finished my exam and I’m feeling worried already. Although I came out of the exmaination room confident, time (as always) has made my nervous jerk. All the ‘What if’ s have surfaced… like
What if I wrote something wrong?
What if I made a careless mistake?
What if I didn’t do well enough in my last AOA CA?
What if I had missed out something important?
I mean all this could be the difference between an A and B… and I need that 4 pointer badly this exam. 3.5 is not going to get me into Poly… or at least that’s what I feel. I know a lot of people might think that I’ve done a lot better than others but you also have to remember… it’s SP that I’m trying to get into. Ok, not a good reason but if I don’t get in then what do I do? What will my parents think? How would they feel?

Ok yes, maybe I am being paranoid. Can ya blame me?

I was reading a dear friends blog and he was talking about how he got mocked when he was younger cause he wasn’t as good as the rest. Well… guess what… 99% of families in Singapore are like that. Even mine… they look down at you cause you don’t do as them or their kids. But then… I stop and think… my dearest came from the same root as him… well… worse actually… EM3… Normal Tech… then Nitec… and guess what… Poly (Am really proud of ya…). I guess what they say isn’t true. It’s not the end if you end up at EM3. So to hell to those who look down at you because you are not as smart as the rest of the Island.

Was reading a fellow exITE schoolmates blog and saw an article/link in there. Apparently, Fridae had organised a party at MOS (I had got the update from MOS but didn’t bother reading it… hee) but was cancelled cause the local police called and told them to cancel it. The reason? ‘the party would “promote gay activities.” ‘. So yes, the party was cancelled. Oh yes, for those of you who have no idea what Fridae is, it’s Asia’s largest gay and lesbian media and events company. I had no idea who they were either until I saw her blog. Sorry… I’m a country pumpkin… *sigh*… it’s… *sigh*…. even after the government annouces that they are not discriminating against gays and lesbians, this still happens. When I was in Secondary school, I always thought it was normal and all of us were like ‘who gives a shit what you are. Big deal.’… hmm… guess I was wrong. Oh well, I guess nothing is going to change in this life time.
