July….

It’s been almost 3 weeks & I haven’t gotten my HP & The Deathly Hallows book yet!!! I knda figured that it’s because the address on my Dad’s Amazon account is in the US. *sigh*….. crap… oh well, I just have to wait a little longer but that’s ok. Lisajie told me what happened in the end but that doesn’t spoil anything for me, cause it’s usually the journey in the book that interests me and not the ending.

I found this really nice box set on Barnes and Noble…. sooo on love wit it but…. *sigh*…. I already have my set…

Been pretty busy over the last 2 weeks….

plus, my computer was being used to watch shows by my 2nd sister and the internet connection was a little cocky.

The exams are coming… they’ll be here in a week or 2 and they’ll be done within 2 weeks. So far, I’ve ok with my tests…. passed all… I’ve been piling up with projects like crazy too. I just finished my ECM report and presentation…. done with my PSCM report and presentation as welll, in fact I got my marks for them as well, not very well done but passed. *sigh*…. In the midst of my Business Law project, finished my RWPS report but haven’t done the presentation. Oh my gosh, I tell you I want to kill my RWPS teacher… the woman is an idiot!!! AArrgghhh…… I shall complain about her later but right now…. *breaths*….

It’s kinda sad that I have to content with just passes right now…. I’m hoping to do well enough to get Bs and Cs…. As seem to be far from my reach now…. GPA 2.5 will make me happy enough…. Yes, my standards in Poly have dropped like an egg.

On another note, I went shopping with mum at the new Giordano Concept in Wisma… bought like 4 tops, a dress and a pair of shorts…. in total?? $274….!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine…?! Hahaha… yeah… crazy… and I bought a pair of ALDO sunnies…. yippy!! so happy… and they were only $35.

I’ve been to Amber at West twice already…. the rest. at Da’s school (Clementi ITE) and so far the food’s been gooood!!!!  Come come, let us take a look see shall we??

The first time I went… I had

Ceaser Salad…. not that good actually… it’s so far my least favourite

Beef steak!!! Yummy… now this was good…. The potatoes were made very nicely…

The 2nd time I went there.. which was today… I had

Cheese Parcel salad…. see that baggie look a like thing there? It’s filled with cheese…. melted cheese!!! Now that was good…. oh so good…

Salmon Supreme… now this was good too… Yummy…

This is some chocolate thing… haha… vanilla ice-cream on top and choclate inside that muffin thing…
Now a 3 course meal for 2 people… no drinks, is about $25. Cheap? The food ranges from $3 onwards. Well, i think it’s ok…. no GST, no service charge… it’s pretty good.

disappointed…

As every year passes by, the respect and idolisation of one diminishes into nothing… What once use to be unconditional love… has become…. well, just obligation. Love still exists I suppose but it is like sailing in a misty ocean and from a distance you see the lights from a boat. Unclear and uncertain.

How do you expect your children to apologise for something, you have never apologised for? Haven’t you always say that parents should set a good example? Childishness and arrogance is all that I have witness for 20 years. Humble is nowhere in sight. Everyone right now is acting like a 10 year old…. it’s ridiculous. I do not apologise for something I do not feel sorry for. Well unless I am forced to…. which is very seldom.

*sigh*…. I have lost faith, trust and respect for the one who I thought was my hero… but then again… I have lost all those many many years ago…. it is only now that I reveal it. Argh, it is so boring humouring you…. telling you things that make you happy…. saying things like I’d like to follow you…. childhood was great…. I cannot complain that my childhood was terrible… it wasn’t… it could have been worse but it could have been better. Having a few things of my own… not having to fight with my sisters for toys and end up playing by myself. The clothes I had were passed down… the toys I had were passed down. I could only remember the handful of toys and clothes that were mine. Maybe that’s why I take so pride in my things now…. having them and saying they are my own. I could live without following you every lifetime.

Disappointments…. life is filled with them.

Another week of school gone by!!!

Tuesday was baby’s birthday….. yan, tiffany, benita, da and I went to Marina Square to have lunch at Sakae…. Da met her boss there… and when he was leaving he bought her a set of sushi worth $38…..!!!! He bought it when we were half way through our meal… so we had a hard time finishing the food… but it was really nice of him…. at first when the lady came to give us the sushi, we all went ‘No no!! We didn’t order this…’…. then she was like pointing to the guy at the counter which was da’s boss and said it was from him…. Da immediately went to talk him…. came back saying it was to wish her Happy Birthday…. so sweet!!!! Hahaha…..

Wednesday after school, I went to meet Auntie Maggie, Sa and Daniel…. we went to have lunch together at Thomason Plaza… Think it was at Four Leaves…. Had fish & chips…. Oohhh…. so yummy…. it wasn’t expensive or anything but tasted really good…. then after that we dropped by the pub and Auntie Maggie got us cakes…. 3 for $15…. it wasn’t those small cakes… it was those big slices… I had Oreo Cheese Cake…. Ooohh… yummy…

Anyway, Sa and steff bought back for me the Shiseido Maquillage eye shadow from HK…. so nice… so pretty…. just love it… thanks guys!

Sa and I went to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix on Thursday…. It wasn’t crowded or anything… when sa and I went into the theatre, sa asked why does it seem like our seats were taken up…. and it was!!! I stood at the end and counted…. cause I had book the tix online myself but it seemed the our row was taken up…. turned out… this pair of indian ladies and their 2 sons were in our seats!!! Actually the 2 indian ladies to be exact…. one of them innocently asked, ‘is this your seat?’…. ‘how many of you? 2?’…. I just kept saying ‘yes’…. I was thinking… what the freak?!?!? They all got up and walked 4 rows down, sat down, then got up again and sat in the row infront of ours…. Sa and I were thinking, they either snuck in or they are foreigners and have no idea how we do things here… but they didn’t stop there… during the movie the handphone of one of them kept ringing and she talked so loudly on it… until the guy next to me told her off… AArrggghh….. she was sooooo rude and annoying…

Harry Potter was like the rest…. a disappointment… if you had not read the book, you might get a little confused cause like they don’t mention that Harry must go for a trial until he actually does…. Well, I had little expectations…. now I can’t wait for the last book that’s arriving this Saturday!!!! Yippy!!

Met Dada on saturday evening,actually we weren’t suppose to meet…. she was suppose to accompany her mum and I stay home to finish some work…which thankfully, I kinda manage to…. then cally came to gt some stuff from me but last minute Da wanted to meet me and so we went to PS…. she bought me flowers!!! So sweet!!! Hee… it really was beautiful…. she carried them all the way from JP to PS…. hee….

walked around town and then we went to Espirit Cafe to meet Tiff… from there the 4 of us headed to Paragon… cause I needed to buy underwear for lindajie…. in the end, she said she didn’t want them…. *sigh*… ah!!! Anyway, I also managed to buy my wrist weights… hee… so now I can use them for jogging… I’ve always wanted them… I just didn’t know where to get them…. until Sa showed me… hee…

Ok today!!! Baby had work so I went to pick her… as usual… We went to meet Tiff at her work place cause today is her last day at that horrid place… ok, it wasn’t terrible for us… just a little pricy but they treat their staff like crap…so after today, da and I won’t be going back…. hee… well at least I had a pretty good meal… plus tiff always gave us a BIG discount. After eating baby was really tired so she took a nap while I went to take a look at the clothes… hee…. saw this really nice school girl skirt… OOoo!! So in love with it!! But it was $99.95….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine!!!! Tiff can get a 40% discount but even after the dicount it’s like $60…. *sigh*…. I am just so in love with Espirits clothes right now…. AHH!!!! I saw so damn many clothes I love there…. Jackets…. Tops…. skirts…. erm… well actually this is the only skirt I love…. but Jackets and TOPs!!!!!!!!! Heaven….

Oh!!! SpongeBob came home today…. Fish&Co called 3 times to tell me he came down… lol…. so we went down to collect him…. da was really happy…. she was so worried and upset thinking she might not get him back… lol…. but he’s home!!

Shane!!

Da bought him for me a week ago…. we went to Build A Bear a week ago and they have this seasonal bear thing… and Autumn was due… so we ordered 2 bears… I ordered one for Sa… hee…. I bought her one without the clothes and I put a voice recorder inside… with my own voice and called it Ali!!! Wahaha….

Ok but back to my bear, da insisted on buying clothes for him so I said ok but NO SHOES…. See his feet? So cute right!! I actually didn’t want one but she wanted to buy it for me… Shane was a last minute name… we sat at the comp and I just said ’shane’ having the l word in mind…. whahahaha!!!!!!!!!

Oh!! Talking about the L Word…. Da’s made friends with her guests in PanPac… she gets along with them well and has been keeping in contact with one of them… a US citizen and he has bought her the season 3 of the L Word as a birthday gift to her….!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the chocolates and tips she had recieved during his stay at PanPac….. No wonder she loves the F&B business…. Getting tips isn’t something new to her anyway…. but the L Word!!!!! And it’s arriving tmr!!! Wahaha…

I know I am the craziest girlfriend ever…. hee…. I drive you insane but for some reason I make you happy as well… no idea how and why but it seems I do… Strangely, we love each other so much…. I know I do… and you’ve been spending the last 5 months proving to me that you do too…. 5 months… has it been that long??? haha… Dada, I love you… much much!! *muakz*

Celebrating the love of my life

Yesterday was the day!!!

I had planned to take baby to the zoo but it rained…. woke up at 7am in the morning and the whole of Singapore was raining cats & dogs. By 9am, it was still raining…. I checked the weather forecast and it was going to rain till about 11am… So I had to cancel the zoo trip… but i went to meet Tiffany as planned at CCK MRT to collect the balloons, I had bought Da a tigger and spongebob balloon with Da’s name on it…..

Then I went to Da’s to pick her up…. she had just woken so I waited for her and gave her my gift…. hee…. By like 11am we went to JP to have breakfast at Coffee Bean…. then yanyan met us…. the present she bought Da was wrapped sooooooo nicely!!!!!! So damn pretty!!! AHHHhhh!!!! It was wrapped in shinny gold wrapping with a glittered ribbon…. she had to write Da her bday card so I took her and walked around. Bought a pair of flats at C&K….

Once Yan was done we went back to Da’s place for a while to get changed and Da wanted to get a trolley…. hee… the ones you get when you go buy a printer…. hahahaha…. i had warned baby that she would have 2 big boxes of presents…. hee… so she strapped Yan’s gift to the trolley and tied the balloons to the gift…. pulled it everywhere!!!!!!
then we took a bus to town…. went to meet Tiffany at her workplace…. there we met Benita too. Yan and I went to the balloon shop and from there Yan bought Da a spongebob balloon…. soooo sweet!!! so cute!!! hee…..

From there, we were thinking of watching a movie…. TRansformers!!! But the theatres both at PS and Picture House were soooo damn packed….. AArrgghhh………. so then we headed to PS Arcade…. let Da play some stuff… cally finally came….. went to play with yan and da some arcade games… baby went to play some hoops and games…. the last one we went to was this candy game… you scoop candy and then the machine will just keep pushing candy…. cally, yan & da sat there for like 3 hours playing…. they all spent like over $100 on that game…. hahaha….. they won like 5kg worth of candy and da won 2 jackpots…. so 2 soft toys…. hee…. yan won 3 jackpots….!!!! Woho!!!!

At about 7pm, cally and I went to the Picture House to collect the birthday cake. They took like extra long to get me my cake… haha… cause they had made a mistake…. but anyway, kenny got to fish&co’s glass house early, that’s where we were having dinner… so da, yan and kenny went to get a sit for 8 people…. hee….

Food was good!!! Jasmine, Da and I shared…. while Kenny, cally and Yanyan shared…. Jasmine had…. sweat & sour fish… I have crayfish penne and Da had clam chowder and black pepper stingray…. hee… then we also order seafood platter for 1 and the 3 of us shared with a huge glass of Sharkie something…. then Kenny, Yan and Cally had a mushroom salad, seafood pizza and platter for 2…. hahaha…. YUMMY!!!! We were sooo hungry so we didn’t get a chance to take pics of all the food….

 

 

Jasmine came shortly… sat there till like 8pm then we got down to ordering… as time passed… jean, tiff and benita (she left half way to go for a malay wedding) came… Some of the staff at fish&co wore these funny hats…. like jester hats…. yan went to borrow the hats… made da wear one… hee…

Thanks to yan, she made it really memorable for da…. introducing everyone to everyone else was sooo easy…. love that everyone was easy going and all…. When cake came, the cream wasn’t eaten it was on everyone’s face…. we made a mess of the whole place… so sorry fish&co!!! one of da’s balloons got lose and it flew up into the highest point of the place…. hahaha…. had to ask them to call me when it comes down… we couldn’t open presents in fish&co cause it was soooo late…. 10.30pm… so we went to that LOVE sign just outside fish&co to open her gifts… hee…. it was really nice to see her smile and be sooo happy.

Baby got her parents to pick her and yan up…. then kenny, cally n I went to take a cab home… I soooo needed to get home quickly… it was 11.30pm and I was in town!!! Didn’t get home till 12 midnight!!!!! Hahaha…. but thankfully mum didn’t scold me.

It the end of the week…. can’t wait for tmr!!!!!

Been so busy over the week preparing for tmr… i just hope things go as planned….

Sa and steff left for HK last saturday morning… I was soooo jealous!!! I was suppose to go!!! Anyway, steff came home last night…. I’ll be meeting sa next week, Thursday (12th July)… I booked tix to Harry POtter & The Order of the Pheonix on that day at PS…. hee!!! Oh and sa finally gave me my birthday present!!! It’s called Pinky Moo…. it’s pink crystal cow from Swarovski…. really cute!!! Heee…… Thanks so much sa!! Oh well, I ordered something for sa and I’m gonna make it today…. hee… I hope she likes it… it’s suppose to be something she can remember me by… you guys will see it soon!

So during the week, all i’ve done is run around like a crazy cow preparing for baby’s bday tmr… Bad news… I couldn’t get free tix… *sigh*….

Oh and another bad news… i won’t be going to Japan…. so freaking crappy!!! Because of that stupid fengshui asshole my mother has been bent on keeping me in SG…. plus, my first sister is planning to marry in SG on the 5th of Jan and has asked the folks to pay a sum… so they say that they are short of cash… so has decided to sacrifice my experience to the land of the rising sun…. *sigh*…. i got compensated for that though… but hey… nothing can buy experience other than experience itself… whatever…. I’m just going to enjoy myself as much as I can down here in smelly hell of SG….

The stupid GST rise has made life in the city hell for me… everything now is SUPER expensive… finding cheap food is almost impossible…. in town it’s still possible but the city… it’s crazy!! Even at food republic… the food is unbelievably expensive…. even Macs & KFC have raised it’s prices. Da and I have made a promise not to eat at all those expensive places…. meals will be strictly below $10 for the both of us…. haha… yeah, we can prob find food that cheap… I’m that determined…

I’ve been so tempted to go shopping but I wanna save money… plus… erm…. clothes… I have no more space in my wardrobe to put anymore clothes!!!!!!! Hahahahaha………. I was packing the clothes the other day and I realised that I couldn’t stuff anything in it!!! So I told da and cally to remind me not to buy anymore clothes unless I get rid of some of the ones I already have…. Hee….

OH!! I got back my FMA paper… wahahaha….. I got 50 on the dot… AGAIN!!!! My gosh… I’m sooo damn lucky… I wasn’t too happy about it though but hey… better than a fail I suppose. I’m more eger to receive my Stats paper and I’m hoping to get it by today… *sigh* I can’t skip gems anymore…. I’ve skipped like 3 lessons already…. I have to go for every single one now…. aarghh…. I can’t stand it… EEEwwww……..
