Happy Chinese New Year!

It’s my last official day of freedom!!! It’s ITP hell tmr….

so it is also the chinese new year week…. on Tuesday I woke up bright and early to go down to the bank… managed to close 1 POSB account, open a UOB account and get my DBS nets done in 2 hours!!!! Weeee!!!!!!!!! Then I went to Bugis Street to get my nails done…. went to sherwin’s friend’s brother’s nail place…. it was a lot smaller than I had imagined…. they did express manicures that day…. which means they just shape and paint your nails… a little disappointed but then again it was the new year season so a lot of places were trying to cramp a lot of customers in a short period of time. Now all in all…. service was… well…. not the best I’ve seen or had… I had to wait for almost at hour… I was told to arrive 15mins (3.45pm) early to prevent any inconvenience… and I did…. when I got there I was asked to walk around first and they would call me later. I walked around for like 15mins then I went back and started reading while waiting and noticed that some people with no appointments walked in and got their nails done. Also noticed that the lady boss seems a bit frustrated and edgy… hmmmm…..

Ok quality…. eh…. it was ok…. my white tips don’t look very nice but otherwise fine. Price… eh… well cheaper than what my mum paid… so it was ok.

Wednesday….. Reunion dinner!! Just went to my cousin’s place in Serangoon gardens to eat…. haha… nothing else.

Thursday was chinese new year!! Well, the first day…. didn’t leave the house till like 4pm… went to visit my mum’s side of the family first…. it’s easy for my family to visit cause everyone goes to one place then we just do celebrations all in one or two places. Then close to dinner time we left to go to Upper Thompson for my dad’s side…. when i got to my uncle’s place… it was packed!!!!!!!! Well ok, both sides of my family is pretty large… both my parents have 7 sisters and brothers… (i think) each. But for my dad, 2 families have gone overseas so we’ve shrunk over the years. Well, it was the first time I got to see my dad’s cousins (grandma’s brother’s kids)…. thing is….. my dad and uncles don’t know them… have like never seen them!!! So i got to see my distant cousins…. who r all younger than me!!! Well… at least they look like they are younger than me.

Friday!! I just went to auntie maggie pub to visit… since she’s too busy for morning visitations I went for an evening one at the pub!! Got to catch up with Daniel…. was glad he was there cause steff couldn’t make it and I thought I’d be alone!! Oh yes and Friday was the 8th and also Sa’s birthday!! Tried to call her but I could not get through. In fact the last couple of weeks I could not get through. Good thing is that she got the present in one piece and on time!!! SO happy.

Saturday.… got up early in the morning to visit Da’s parents!!!! So I went to BoonLay like super early… at the same time I got to see Nutty!!! Played Mahjong…

After that I had to go to town to meet Shaun, Jarad and Kitty… and then Jeremy… well…. at least I was suppose to. Kitty had visitations… Jarad and Shaun…. well…. hmmm…… while waiting I walked around to take a look what to buy Franc, CY n SY…. Choryew was easy cause hunky chunky ricky already told me what to get. Got hungry so I went to Borders Bristo to grab a bite… didn’t know Jeremy would give me this huge pile of veggies (i ordered chicken ceaser salad) and chicken….. almost half a loaf of bread and… 5 yummy chocolate cookies… hee… loved them… although I was sooo darn full after that.

I went to buy Choryew’s Casio watch, then Shaun finally came… went to buy Franc a BUrberry’s prefume… we kept walking up and down smelling like dogs for 30 mins before deciding on what to get him. Then when jeremy finished work we went to buy sy present… G2000 shirt….

Finally got to Ricky’s place…. stayed till like 3am in the morning!!! Hahaha….

Yay!!! I finally got my Into the Wild novel… got jeremy to buy for me cause it’s cheaper… heee…..

went to watch Sweeney Todd with Da this morning at Yishun…. the theatre was empty!!! Well, ok not empty there was 2 boys in the theatre with us… gay couple I think… but anyway… it was just the 4 of us in there!! SO darn cool!!! Anyway,we were suppose to spend the day together before my damn ITP tmr but she wanted to visit some friends so… hmm… fine…

got everything prepared here…. ah!!! I can’t believe it’s starting!

scared…. nervous… *sigh*…. found out when the results are coming out…. wish I didn’t… cause I have more than 1 paper I am worried about. Wish I felt different… but usually I am right about my feelings… i can only hope n pray… but i doubt my prayer will be heard… hardly is…
