Movie Day

today was a great day!!!

haha…

right so i met up with the guys, prawn, jeremy and mama…. and the slut….
went to watch ‘Bloody Valentine’….

and got cheated!!!!!!
our MAIN reason for going to watch this movie was cause it was 3D!!!!
BUT turns out… it’s only at selected theatres….
Lido’s timing wasn’t very good so we decided to go to cini….
problem was…… it didn’t have 3D!!!!!!
UGHHHHH!!!!!!
but jeremy and i did get our 2nd reason for watching this movie…
JENSEN ACKLES!!! HOTTNESS!!!
the movie wasn’t too bad…
I expected it to be one of those ‘Jason’, ‘Halloween’ & ‘ELM Street’ movies,
where the killer NEVER dies…
but apparently not….
the killer was a little unexpected….
the gore was endless!!!!
pickaxe through the chins, eye, stomachs….
heads split open….
naked woman running out on the street….
dwarf lady also gets killed….
people’s guts getting ripped out….
hearts taken out…
all with the help of the pickaxe…

so we met up with the slut after the movie….
had dinner at pepper lunch….
and made a last minute decision to go watch another movie…

‘Marley & Me’….
on a Friday evening, the best place to watch such a movie would be Lido!
defo gonna be seats…
in fact…. the theatre had tons of good seats….
the movie was sweet….
Marley reminded me of soooooo many dogs here in singapore….
OMG…. the puppy was soooooooooooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*sigh*…..
i think a lot of you out there can relate to the movie…
especially those of us who never trained our dogs….
uh huh….

2 movies in a day…
awesome!!!
now we’re planning to watch 3 movies next week….
PUSH, WATCHMEN…
3rd movie is still pending….

gonna go swim at SP tmr with Kitty…
then take a trip down to SIM for their Open House…
Gonna see how things are over there….

well at least I hope…….
with the number or careless mistakes i made on my law paper, i could kill myself….
plus the fact that I couldn’t finish the paper on time… i can only sweat it out…
any hooooos…. my last paper was yesterday MORNING!
felt so happy after….
TMS on Monday went well…
better than I had expected…. happy…
the only thing left is to hope and pray I can pull through….
don’t wanna disappoint my parents and myself.

no, i won’t miss the people…

went to CLUB MARC just now….

they were having this awesome sale….
everything was going for like $19….
NOT KIDDING….
so every time my dad takes a trip overseas,
I take a trip into town with my mum…
and almost every time,
we’d go to the little Hong Kong rest. for our dinner…
and every time I forget my camera….
food is yums…
it’s been my childhood rest.
been going there for over 20 years…
gotta take pics next time…
REMEMBER!

Monday monday….
my second sis will be coming home next week…
excellent timing…
promised to take her out shopping….
hopefully it’ll cheer her up….
plus it’s great that she’s coming home next week..
cause I need her help to guide me through the whole uni application thing…

81st Academy Awards

the 81st Academy Awards this year was AWESOME!!!!

Hugh Jackman did an excellent job as a host….
His opening song was hilarious….

Talk about a bunch of good looking people….
ugh….. unrealistically gorgeous!

Robert Pattinson was sitting behind Mickey Rouke and Marisa Tomei….
uhhh….. have to admit…. he actually looked handsome!!
clean cut and all….

Taraji P. Henson from Curious Case of Benjamin Button is really pretty!

The set this year was amazing…. really appropriate and nicely done….
it was pretty awesome that they got previous winners to present the awards to this year’s winner…
soooo awesome…. the fact that we got to see pass winners again….

the music number was nice…. although Zac Efron and Vanessa Hugens was a little buzz kill….
oh well…..

am sooo enjoying watching the Oscars….

study week

Our days in SP are numbered….
really numbered….
in 4 days we won’t have a schedule to follow….
i’m not really looking forward to it actually….
the uni deadlines don’t make me feel gd….

it doesn’t help that you’re such a bitch about it….

been ard singapore the last week studying…

monday was woodlands with mabel….
went right after yoga…
had to drop by Gombak to get my notes from prawn first….
lunch with her…
first Mac…. but it was blazing hot so we moved into the library….
which was filled….
ended up sitting in the kids section on the small tables….

tuesday was STARBUCKS in town….
with mabel and prawn….
dinner with them at Far East…..
went for body combat while they went to watch Pink Panther 2

wednesday was SP….
we were running out of place to study….
the school library was hell of noisy….
annoyed…. but managed to get some work done…
dinner was excellent….
since fc6 had closed before 5pm, we decided for some XO beehoon….
brought back memories….
Prawn hadn’t been to the one at Buona Vista and mabel had NEVER had XO beehoon….
so an intervention was necessary…. 
such heavenly tastes and hypnotic aromas should be experienced at least once….
 

dinner could not have been better….
ash came over for movie night…
this time is was Poltergeist and Edward Scissorhands…
her timing could not have been better…
the air con got fixed that morning….
it’s Antarctica in here right now…

thursday studying was in hougang…
which was NOT a gd idea…
there’s no where in hougang to study…
mabel n prawn came over….
which is THE WORSE place to study….
yes i have a table and a little more floor space to study…
BUT… the temptations of the tele and bed were too strong…
mabel kept going ‘tv tv tv tv tv’…. like a 4 year old kid….
she sounded and looked retarded doing that but…
well… she is anyway….
ash came back that night…
after her ENT BBQ and dropped dead….
my room was filled with the perfume of alcohol coming from her…

Friday morning… I woke up with Mac breakfast….
ash couldn’t sleep from 4am onwards….
headed to town at about lunch time for movie with vans…

met mabel and xy while lining up for tix…
being nice ash decided to surprise mabel with tix… 
the movie was good
Greg Behrendt had a cameo…. 
like all cameos it lasted 2 seconds… haha…
ok for you guys who don’t know who i’m talking about…
Behrendt’s the guy who wrote ‘He’s Not That Into You’…
Justin Long’s really grown to be quite appealing…
He’s ED days of biggest nerd in town is looong over man…

walked to Cityhall to have early dinner at NewYork NewYork…

headed home after dinner…
needed to get some work done…

not to mention, sa spent a whole afternoon yesterday looking for my books online with an affordable price and she did!! On Alibris…. 3 hardcover books for US$48….. *sigh*….. although they’re second hand books, i just hope they’re in OK condition. Despite being single on Vday this year, it’s turned out a hell of a lot better than i expected. and it’s all thanks to sa! my gaaawd…… i love you!!! thank you!!!!

so caught Defiance yesterday with Prawn…
it was between Changeling, Valkyrie and Defiance…. 

finally caught it!
so happy….
movie was not bad….
at least I liked it… daniel craig… jamie bell, liev Schreiber, Alexa Davalos & Mia Wasikowska (whose gonna be in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland)

i realise I’ve come accustomed to war movies and indi films…
actually as i get older, i kinda start watching almost any kind of movie…

less picky… 

anyways, we were both bored at home so decided to go watch movie….
walked to Rocher for soya bean and egg tart then Dhoby to head home.  

stayed home the whole day today writing out my notes for TMS….
found out my previous chapters are with that skinny ass seafood….
need to get them back….
it’s gonna TMS tmr as well….
LIT craziness won’t start till Monday I guess…. 

Gotta get quite a bit done before Wed cause it just may be another movie night with martel girl

timing for my calls to sa are terrible…
called 20mins late to wish her happy bday 2 weeks ago…
and i called hours too early to wish her Happy V day….
crap that she won’t be home this holiday…
so gotta wait till the end of the year to see her….

headed to town to meet mum while ash went for Tution….

went to buy ‘Legends of the Fall’ & ‘Edward Scissorshands’
oh man…. i’m gonna cry like hell watching Legends…. sigh…
did a little shopping at Forever 21….
it’s my current fav clothing shop…
got 2 pieces of assesscories for free…
apparently if u spend $60, you get one piece $13 and below…
ash - so yeah… now you know….
I got 2 bracelets… both being $13 each…. wahahaha…. 

been cleaning my room and packing all my crap….
*sigh*
it’s just gonna get messy over the week… again…. 

OVER THE WEEK

studied at STARBUCKS over the week….

dinner at Heeren’s Jack’s Place…
we came to the conclusion that we should only meet once a week…
the 3 of us are waaay too expensive together….
