ONE WORD…

OK PEOPLE… INPUT!

I’ve got a journal entry due next week for my english class in UB….
I need ONE WORD you guys would use to describe me…..
I’ve already gotten one from ash…. ‘broad-minded’….
I told her, I thought she would have said, ‘mean’ or ‘evil’ or something along that line….
and her reply was… ‘Your teacher would minus mark if she knew the truth.’
sigh….
anyway I’ll wait till over the weekend to do my journal so, yes please help!

caught ‘Dance Flick’ on Wednesday night with B.
haven’t seen a movie in quite a while….
there was nothing else to watch at 8pm other then this and I never thought I’d actually catch this movie…
the trailer looked super dumb….
it’s similar to ‘Epic Movie’, ‘Scary Movie’ etc….
BUT the Wayans Brothers did a pretty good job…
it was pretty funny…
they spoofed Twilight as well…
which was damn funny…

It’s not too bad a movie if you just wanna sit down in an air-conditioned room, switch off your brain & laugh….

DTF dinner @ Wisma with B…

unfortunately, DTF doesn’t allow photo taking so…
no food pics today….

A walk down orchard road with B., Crystal & Charlene led us to discover n artist….
saw a crowd gather in front of Wisma,
Charlene & Crystal went to check it out….
saw this guy doing art with spray paint…
& it looked sooo awesome…

 

bought the first piece from the bottom…
soooo pretty…..
gotta go IKEA & frame it up….
I actually bought one more for my 1st sis & it’s called ‘Amanda’….

went to peep at his license at the bottom of his blogspot add….
see that green & yellow paper stuck on the black board…??
cause Crystal was asking how old he was…
same age as me!!
hahaha…
ok cheap thrill… 

Crystal got him to do one specially for her…..
she gave him an idea of what she wanted…
not specifically of course….
 

it looks a lot better than the original piece….
he did another one that varies from this….

i can do without company overall…

i’m quite happy that they are drowning us with a lot work actually….
keeps me busy during the breaks….

it actually makes me feel like I’m back in Year 1 in SP….

some of the people are pretty nice… friendly…
but still….
doesn’t change the fact….
but for some reason I’ve always survived and came out an overflow of peers….

1st Anni Dinner on Monday with ash & vans…
one year ago on the 7th Sep 2008
the 3 of us together with a bunch of SP students went to California!!!!!
all strangers…
& we came back friends….
and I’ve spent like more than 200days since then with the two girls…. 

Dinner at the ‘Standing Sushi Bar’ @ the UOB centre…..
I didn’t notice until we were seated (cause I was busy on the phone), 
Howard (from ‘eye for a guy’) was one of the people who opened up this standing bar….
in fact, i didn’t even know who he was…
I leaned towards vans and whispered… ‘that guy looks familiar…’
& she gives me this, ‘clueless as ever’ look….
my reply was ‘oh, you mean I’m suppose to know who he is?’
vans: ‘yeahhhh….’

hahaha….
anyways….. dinner!!!
and this time… it’s just food….
NO me…. 

this was surprisingly pretty good….
I ate fish that I wouldn’t normally eat…
just because it was a platter and I was sharing with the girls….
but the fish was really fresh… 

this is actually a lot nicer  or at least on par with rolls you find at sakae or tei…..
definitely a must have when you go there… 

super fresh…. good…
only the rice will fall apart… 

the handrolls were the only thing that I wasn’t too impressed with….
the seaweed was a little thin….
or something…
i know it was the seaweed that didn’t seem right… 

meh…

good… not too bad…

oh my…. the scallops are a MUST HAVE at Standing Sushi Bar….
they are really good….
they can’t taste any better than that… 

definitely good… thick fat juicy eel….

a very simple mixed mushroom dish but good…
the butter flavour really mad the dish uber tasty….

not too bad…. but I’d say go for the fresh scallops rather than the fried scallops…
such a waste of the delicious scallops if you order the fried ones… 

Tuna!!
ok it’s not bad considering that I’m not a big fan of tuna sushi….

During dinner, every time Howard walked behind us & ash was talking
she would keep quiet till he walked pass.
super funny…
she & vans blushed when he came to talk to us…
AND THEN! I got scolded for paying the bill….
*sob*
cause I got to talk to him while standing at the cashier….
ahhhhhh…….
sadness….  

BUT nvm…. I got my revenge….
during dinner…..
I can’t remember what I said to ash….
but she said to me ‘Fuck you!’
me: ‘huhhhh….. but I don’t want to fuck you……’ (& mind you, I was whispering….)
ash: ’shhhhhhh………….’ 

wahahahahaha…..
and I did it again at Starbucks…

Lunch at SUMO House on Wednesday @ Clementi with B. 

went to meet the Academic Advisor after lunch with B.
lucky thing I went to see her!!!!
Cause I missed the talk the previous week…
& I didn’t know that it was actually compulsory to meet her….
I just felt that I should….
LUCKY!!!
cause I found out that I should plan my  timetable and there are 1 or 2 modules I can waiver…. 
Econs & Psyc 101….
need to go down to SP to get my PSYC syllabus… 

school’s been ok
super busy….
that’s why I haven’t had time to blog….
quizes, project & assignments are piling up like JINGA…..
there’s a lot to do during the weekend….
1) ESL Journal - & the topic is…. ‘What is one word your friends would use to describe you?’
2) ESL - Quiz on Wednseday
3) COM 101 - Need to go look for an Asia produced comedy movie that is at the most 12mths old….
4) COM 101 - Blog entry by Sat, 11.30pm
5)MATH - Practice for Quiz next week 
& my room looks like a tornado came & left….
